El mar. Allí tan grande que parece obvio y aun así millones de personas alrededor del mundo nunca han visto esa inmensa masa de agua.
Para muchos es un concepto, una palabra amorfa, es la teoría sin la práctica.
Colors Magazine es una revista bastante peculiar que trata temas sociales y culturales a través del mundo. Dentro de su impresionante página web encontramos este proyecto que nos muestra a través de pequeños cortos, las historias de esas personas que ven el mar por primera vez en su vida.
Nos encantó la idea de presenciar y en cierta manera formar parte de ese “mucho gusto” entre una persona y el océano.
Les dejamos para que las historias hablen por nosotros y esperamos que la próxima vez que vean ese infinito paisaje donde se une el cielo con el agua, respiren hondo y sonrían y no den por sentado la buena vista.

The sea. There it is, so great that it seems obvious and yet millions of people around the world have never seen such a vast mass of water.
For many it is a concept, is an unshaped word, is theory without practice.
Colors Magazine is a quite peculiar magazine that talks about social and cultural issues throughout the world. Inside its impressive website we found this project that shows us through short films, the stories of those people who see the sea for the first time in their life.
We loved the idea of witnessing and somehow be part of that "nice to meet you" between a person and the ocean.
